Does anyone have any clue as to how the controllers work on a "96 A4? my Vag-Com is getting no reading from any of the controllers except for the HVAC controller. i cant start, dont get instrument display, cant work my windows and so i am wondering if there is one main computer that controls all of the other controllers. if so i think mine's fried.

yea its probably fucked, i huess you could try and find a newer one online and swap it out

 

Theres probably nothing wrong with the ecu. Sounds like you have a power supply problem. Check for a loose connection on the fuse panel.
