RE: quick ?
Um, I would check the manual but on my 96' a4 when "ln 1" appears it means I need an oil change, and "ln 2" is scheduled stuff like control arms, shocks, etc. I would look in your cars owner manual though because it might be different for your model year.

I guess that would be a problem. DO you know if it says ln1 or ln2 when you first start up the car? On mine again the ln1 or ln2 appears for a second or two then switchs to how many miles I have till the service.

I have In 1 on my 97 when I start it up, but its done that even after I got my oil changed. Fully synthetic, OEM filter. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What this means is that the indicator is programmed to go off every (7500?) mi. Its not like its smart enough to recognize a problem or anything. Usually, the dealer would just reset it after service.
