How are you planning on removing the license key from yourcomputer? Doesn't it come with a license?

Reason why I ask is because I have a friend who has that CD and it came with a license. He no longer needs itandI would like to know how to remove the license.

Let me be the first to say I'm very interested, but I am concerned about the license key. I know there is a way to transfer the key to a new computer (say in case your hard drive crashes) but I just don't know the proceedure and if it requires interaction with Bentely to get the job done- and they might not feel obliged (sp?) to help since you are re-selling it. Any thoughts about this?

No need to transfer the license key. If he has the cd w/license key, then that is all you'll need to install the software.

All I have to do is click a button to deactivate the S/N on my computer, and then it can be installed on a different machine. It comes with 2 serial #'s so you can have it on 2 different computers if you want.Its very simple, but highly protected. There arent any pirate versions of the Bentley CD that Ive seen around, ever. If your hard drive crashes then you call or email Bentley publishers with the S/Nthat was on the computer that crashed,and they will give you a new S/N. They keep records of that kind of thing so you cant just call in every week and say your computer crashed to get more S/N's.

Im keeping my car btw :D I just havent had a great need for this software. Its great for anyone that wants to learn a shit load though. There's tons of info... Im comfortable working on my car 95% of the time without a manual though.

Let me know if you want it or not for sure, I have this on a couple other sites for sale, and in the S4 section here. I cant imagine it will last that long. Id rather someone from this site get it.

Its already discounted. Itll end up being about $20 less than what youd pay from ECS after shipping. Its in new condition, minus the plastic wrapping. Im looking to sell it fast, so if youre coming up for school, like, tomorrow, then Ill hold it for you for $65.
