best springs for Audi sport susupension
I have a 2001 A4 1.8Tquattro with sport suspension that comes optional with Audi. I want to know if i buy springs, will it lower the car as much as it says it will??? I am asking this because i already have the sport suspension and am not sure if this will affect the lowering numbers given on websites for the springs. (for ex. eibach... F-1.7, R-1.3) <---- Will it be the same??? Also, what are the best springs for this model and lower it the most??? Thanks
yah im not too worried about controlling the height and honestly i dont have the money.... im just trying to lower it more then how it looks in my sig below. Hardly any wheel well gap would be nice. Have you guys heard of intrax? Check out this page and let me know what you think

Sport is supposedly 3/4" lower than non-sport. That should give you the missing measurement you need to figure it out.
Try this link for a convenient comparison across several brands (search "springs" to go to that part, it's a long page): http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102671
I hope it's OK to keep linking to other forums b/c I do it a lot. Someoen correct me if I'm not supposed to or if it's bad form!

usually you need to get new struts when you buyaftermarket springs. However, if you have sport suspension already, do you HAVE to buy new struts when you install aftermarket springs?? Anybody?
