Default Crank/stroke question

Does a stock aba 2.0 crank fit in an aeb 1.8t block. If so does it require any machining?

I dont think the blocks are similar. but i'm not sure. also the stroke on the two motors might be the same. THe 2.0 could just have a bigger bore. I but i'm not sure.

I'm actually in the process of making ym 1.8 into a 2.0. The ABA 2.0L crank will fit, but ther's a section in the block near the #2 cylinder that has to be ground for it to clear.
