Blue Tooth in '07 A4???
I have a 2007 A4 which has the buttons on the steering wheel for the Blue Tooth functions but the car did not come equipped with the actual Blue Tooth option. I asked the dealer if it could be added or activated somehow and they said no. Obviously it can be added despite what they are telling me but I was wondering if anyone here has installed it or knows what is needed? Thanks for your input.
Hey Sline. I went throught the same thing and not only did I add the Bluetooth, but also added the Nav system. It's awesome! You can find everything you need on another forum called NAVPLUS. The person I bought my Bluetooth from was NSX JR and my nav from Haaggie. It wasn't cheap for everything, but well worth it. If your just going with the Bluetooth and you have the SymphonieII radio, NSX JR will hook you up. If your looking for information on how to do the install, I can provide this information or you can find it on that same site. You will need to VAG the computer so that it sees the bluetooth module, but that's easy enough if you have the cable. If you don't have the cable and don't want to spend the $700 cnd to get one, you can try and find someone near you that is willing to help on this website: VAG Locator
As I said, I just went through this in my 06A4B7 and it was very easy.

Thanks,
I really appreciate the help. It looks like it shouldn't be much trouble to get the Blue Tooth functional. This is just a back and forth to work car so I won't need the navigation. Thanks again.

I have an 04 A8L with a broken analog phone. Can anyone help find a blue tooth solution? I have an integrated phone system that came from the factory. Many people are talking about this, but I have yet to get real information as to if it can be done and the costs involved. Any help would be much appreciated.
I don't think I understand your question. Are you saying you have the bt hardward in your car with a broken cell phone that you are loking to connect to your car using your car as the attena? I don't think this is possible and if your phone is an analog one, chances are it won't have the bt option in it. IS this correct? If not, please clarify.
Ah, that would make sence. ... If that's the case, it's over my head since I don't know all Audi sets ups.
I can help search on other sites if this is the case. I can ask the questions to the person I bought my set up from if you want?

Yep, just buy the BT module, BT antenna and a 54 pin connector, swap the wires from the 42 pin connector into the correct places on the 54 pin, only 5 wires to move and then your done.
The armrest phone can be removed and you should recode the phone module (77) and front control module (07) to accept the new phone.
