What you can do if your low on budget, is get a K&N air filter. When I bought my 2.8 the guy took out the K&N and put the factory filter in,then gave me the K&N if I wanted to use it. 3 days later, I put it in, and i noticed a slight difference in throttle respone, 50 bucks. Ive also heard a magnaflow exhaust on a 2.8 and it sounds really powerfull, it sounds so much better on a V6. As far as performance, I dont know I didnt geta chance to drive it.

They look good, and sound good, but the performance gains are minimal for the v6. Its more a cosmetic enhancement than a performance mod.

Coilovers will make it look way better (lowered), and handle way better, so those are worth it.

get an ebay intake, its like 60 bucks shipped and its the best thing for the money. it gives you an amazing sound and a little better throttle response.

other than that dont do anything else performance wise. this is what you do to have a rediculous car...

1. de badge the rear (not the rings tho) - FREE
2. paint your lower plastic pieces the same color as your car (very easy and cheap) - $20
3. rs4 grille, paint the silver trim around the grille the same color as your car - $75
4. Get some ECODE headlights (one piece) - $200 - $400 depending on where you get them
5. Do a custom mesh lower grille (very easy and very cheap) - $20
6. Lower the car (neuspeed race springs and bilstein sport shocks are amazing) - $700 for parts
7. 18 inch rims - $1000
8. Get some 99-01 tail lights - $150
9. Tint your windows - $150
10. Ebay intake - $60
11. Chrome mirror caps - $100

Do all that and you will have people asking you all day if "thats the new '07rs4" lol.. I have all that done to my car and people think I spend 50 grand or more...ha

A nice system with navi/dvd doesnt hurt either.

The 2.8 is audi's more luxury version of the A4, its more of a "baller car" that can handle really good other than a speed demon.

But if you must have speed, nitrous is the cheapest thing to do and our motors handle a 75 shot with no problem. Or you could spend 5 grand on a supercharger, lol.
