The lower rubber trim that runs below the doors has fallen off both side of my 98 A4 below the rear doors. The extact same thing happened to my friend's 99 A4 so it must be that these clips all eventually rust off. Can anyone tell me where I can buy replacements without going through the dealer? I have searched and can't find the parts anywhere.

ECS tuning does, not sure how much cheaper than dealer, but here is the link

Correct. ECS has them in the mid 20s they are held on bu the metal and plastic clips and one screw at the bottom front of the door. Can be accessed by opening the door, but sometimes these are rusted tight.
