Default boost after FMIC install

just installed my racetec FMIC. before FMIC boost was 17-18 psi each gear. after the FMIC install 1st and 2nd are about 15 psi and 3rd 4th 5th are all 17-18 is this supposed to happen. i know there is a very small psi drop accross the FMIC but i didnt expect it to afect 1st and 2nd. any input is appreciated. thanks.

It's intercooler pressure drop. For a scientific explanation scroll halfway down this page to the section titled "Pressure Drop."

What boost controller are you using?

I think you got some bad psi readings. As the engine speed is the same in 1 and 2 ans 3 and 4, the same amount of air is being pushed in each gear.

When I did my fmic, I didn't lose any boost at all. Just curious, you did use 2.5 inch piping or bigger, right?
Jaxspeeddemon originally had a fmic installed with 2.1inch piping and he lost about 8psi in every gear, from 25 to about 17psi.
