Boost gauge installed (console)
First if you can call it "mod" of the car - boost gauge. After debating on where to install the gauge (it was laying connected in my glove compartment for the past 2 weeks) I decided to mount in in the center console.
Here it is: http://users.adelphia.net/~duhvinci/...ge_overall.jpg At night: http://users.adelphia.net/~duhvinci/...rall_night.jpg Upclose: http://users.adelphia.net/~duhvinci/...lose_angle.jpg And making it - trimmed stock shroud, little ABS plastic patching, bondo, bondglass, paint etc... http://users.adelphia.net/~duhvinci/...e_making_1.jpg http://users.adelphia.net/~duhvinci/...e_making_2.jpg The bulb is bright enough, but does not give enough light to the lower part of the gauge, so this weekend will replace with 2-3 LEDs D |

I saw it on AZ, and I must say you did a very nice job there. Congrats!

RE: Boost gauge installed (console)
nice job, thats by far better than the air vent location.

RE: Boost gauge installed (console)
Very nice.
I don't like the air vent location, so me and my friend were thinking that it would be cool to put maybe 3 gauges in a row in a custom fabbed pod to match rest of the console placed right in that spot where the trim narrows underneath the vents, but above the head unit area. I wasn't sure what to make the 3rd gauge (I had oil pressure and boost picked out), and I couldn't find anything that matched the gauges in the gauge cluster. |
