Boost leak!!
Ok so i got a boost guage and instaled it. I am runing at 4 psi! I am stock but i decided maby its my DV so i got the new forge spliter and it did nothing. My check engine lite is on for my MAF. Would this have anything to do with it? Also for some odd reason when i turn on my car some times a really really hight pitched noise come out and it sounds like its comeing form the air pump. what other problems could it be? Any help would be awsome. My car is not doin to well
^it may just be that your boost guage is a piece of crap
or you may be in same sort of limp mode?
replace boost guage first...
if you were really bosting 4psi your car would be soo fvcking slow that you probably would hate driving it...

i would say its probl limp mode... when you wer installign the forge you might have accidently disconnected the wire for the mass airflow or soemthign and it tripped safe mode, i'dd look into that first just to make sure.

My turbo has been acting weird lately, I believe it keeps on going on and off from limp mode.
Sometimes it only boosts at 5 PSI max, then other times it hits the usual 16 PSI.
Sometimes it stays stuck @ the 5 PSI max mode for days, goes back to regular for a bit, and then goes back to the 5 PSI max.
Any suggestions?

you're not supposed to have the nylon line make any sharp bends and don't kink the line when you install it either. the nylon holds up better than a rubber vac line. the rubber line may work better in terms of kinking, but i think the nylon will hold up better over the long term, and nylonwon't be as susceptible to expanding/collapsing under boost/vaccum - providing a more accurate boost/vacuum measurement.
