You did give it some surface area over the pipe and didnt just plug the holes right? You spread it out over the pipe with a little bit in the actual hole?

Ya i was hoping he didnt just push it in there and applied it on more surface area than actual "pushing it in/plugging it"

i plugged the hole and spread some out on the actual pipe si it'll be stronger. then i cut about 1.5" x 1.5" patches out of 16 gauge sheeting and put the patches over the hole and then jb welded that over it on the seams. I took the intercooler hose off until it dries completely so nothing would get sucked in through it.

Putting JB weld, thenthe piece of metal then more JB weld might not have been the best idea... Hope it all works out for ya'

The previous owner drilled holes into it to attach the lower bumper valance that was falling off so theres about 8-10 little holes in it where screws once were.
the funnyest thing I've heard

the jb weld worked perfectly. I looked into the pipe and blew out anything with an air gun. Only thing that came out was oil. No More leak and damn have i been missing the potential of my b5. No more hissing and the throttle response is alot better than i ever experienced.
