Uhhh the screen won't do **** for debris since it has rather large holes.

id does on a n/a car and u dont need to get the ecu flashed. it will help so id do it if u already have it. try it. n/a to fi is a completly diff concept of moddin

I should say that I dug the topic up on audiworld. I agree boring it makes no sense now since the MAF will have bad readings of how much airflow is actually coming into the unit. I guess I'm talking about the S3 style MAF.

i have the stage 3 maf. just make sure you have the correct maf (178 133 471A) here are some pics. i would not worry about going lean the 12v run extreamly rich. plus you can choose how rich or lean to run by swaping out dif size o-rings.

How does one bore the maf anyway? Does it have to be done at a machine shop?

Yeah it probably needs to go to a machine shop. Maybe I can just remove the post on my stock one and leave the sample tube in place.

as flyboy said i bought them already done. dont know if i got any better responce from the maf. i have gone from stock to stage 1 then to stage 3 tb it is def a big dif. swiched back to stock for a few days and it was like dam my car was realy realy slow.

if you search more on aw 12v forum you can do all the work your self. good luck
