Ok so I've waited for 12 weeks now only to find out that a production run for B5 exhausts isn't even SCHEDULED! Just an fyi for anyone thinking about a Borla ... AINT GONNA HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON!

they backordered mine when i ordered it, so i canceled my order and called AWE tuning

i got it 3 days later

found another source

 

Find more sources or look into other exhaust manudacturers like APR or Milltek. LLtek makes an exhaust also.

 

yea but nothing as cheap as borla and as well crafted for the price

 

i got mine for 518 shipped from usa someting or other. just do a search for borla exhaust and go to the websites and find the cheapest price that isnt on backorder

 

#$%^! when was that? i ordered mine on 5/11!!!!! two days ago i talked to borla's eastern sales mgr who said that the model i need isn't even on the production schedule for at least another 4 weeks.

 

For anyone looking for an all stainless cat-back Borla ... I actually found a good answer.

I ended up buying a kit through German Parts and Restoration that was put together by Techtonics Tuning. Techtonics makes all the pipes and uses Borla mufflers to complete the set. The fit was pretty good and the sound is awesome. The whole package including downpipe and all the hardware was $800 shipped.

 

I have a neuspped and for the price the sound/quality is definetly worth it

 

Ok so I email Borla to see what is taking so long and they told me they should be shipping them out in the middle or end of the month to there distributor they told me that there has been a big request for the exhaust

 

I was all set to put a Borla on the car this month... But now I had to go and ruin it by deciding to buy a house.

However on a high note, I just changed jobs with a 5K salary bump. So hopefully I can start throwing some cash at the car again after I finally buy the house.
