Well after owning my '03 1.8T for a total of 4 months (80,000 kms, dealer purchased)I have replaced the crank position sensor, window regulator, total moon roof rail system, all four coils, and now the clutch is gone. I also installedPirelli P6tires, Diverter Valve and APR flash and I'm running out of money. I tried to come over to the Audi world but I have never had so many issues with all my previous cars combined, so I think I am getting out of Audi's and going to trade the A4 in on something.

I bought my last BMW used and beat on it like it owed me money and never had one problem in 3 yrs so I think my heart lies with BMW. Would love a G35 but I think it might be out of my price range.

Was thinking about 2001-04. Nissan 350z orBMW 330ci.

 

if u live in an area that snows i would recommend a b5 1.8t. otherwise i bid farewell and good luck

 

Victoria BC, so it hardly ever snows. Not really a need for Quatro.

go with beemer, the 350z is a toy, im nto bashing its a quick car but im to used to my audi and when a friend of my drove me in his it felt very cheep

 

I work at the dealer, and I can tell you with confidence that the B6 seems to be the most unreliable of the 3 chasis (b5/b6/b7).It seems like for every b5 we get in for service, we get2 or 3b6's. B7's are mostly there justfor their 1k-30k mile services, nothing too crazy happening to them, yet. A guy was in yesterday to have his sunroof/rails fixed on his b6as a matter of fact. That car was sitting in a bay next to another B6 in for engine replacement (sludge) [&:]
In other words:
B5 or bust for the 350Z.

 

never any big problems with my B5.that sucksyou had so much trouble with it operator.

 

The 350z seems cheap to me as well but is tough and quick so im not sure where my priorities are.

 

get a G35 if your gonna get a Z.
