Man, for the longest time I could not figure out where my brake squeaking was coming from... Not only would it squeal when I braked, but when I hit bumps I would get a high chirp... It didn't sound like control arm squeak either... So I decided to take my pads off and give em a rasping in case they were glazed over...

Then I noticed my rotors - holy ****... They were burned down so bad that there was a 1/4" raised lip on them. The side of the brake pad was hitting the lip causing the squeak. Don;t think i have ever burned rotors down that far...

So tonight I get to install these babies...
