Hmm lol alot to choose from here.. if i could choose id prob have to say brembo but because of money being an issue at this point i may have to shy away from that unfortunatly..

However you seem to be pretty happy with alcon 2k S4 lol.. how did you hear about them?

To everyone else im gunna look into all the options im lookin at here.. Thanks for the input!
If the Brembo is to much $$, you will not like the Alcon price. Yea, I'm very happy with them, so far they are the best brakes I have ever used.

The ECS kits offer the biggest bang for the buck. But with brakes you really do get what you pay for.

Even the stock EVO 8 brakes that Jeff posted are not the best, they flex a little to much & don't offer the best pedal feedback. But are incredible for stock parts. Mine also has SS lines, Hawk pads, Giro disk rotors (very nice upgrade, but $$) & Motul 600 fluid.

Anybody here have any experience with the STaSIS Tuning Alcon kit? (Or anything else from STaSIS, for that matter - esp. their TorSen upgrade and LSD)

I have the Stasis 355mm 4 piston Alcons. 2K S4 has the 6 pistons, I'm not sure what size though.

The calipers are flexy, they are not the higher end Brembo's. Not that they are bad, in any way, just not high end. I have Hawk HPS pads also, they are nice, but the Giro Disk 2pc rotors help the bite a little more.

I'm also compairing the EVO's brakes to the S4's Alcon's, they are not in the same league. Stasis has a kit for the EVO, it's just out of my price range right now.

That's where you get Alcon's from is Stasis, it's a great company. The center diff upgrade is awesome! It really helps with turn in, & makes the car "feel" lighter. To bad they don't have one for a TIP. [:-]
