Hi everybody,

I've been looking around this forum for a while but this is only my second post. About 3 weeks ago I got a Red 2000 1.8T A4 (Manual). I love the car. The car has 78,000 miles on it and when I bought it the dealer gave me 4 new tires with it. Well today when I was driving to work I was going about 40mph and there was a pretty deep pothole that I didn't see on the side of the road, well my right frount tire hit it and there was a loud noise, then 30 seconds latter I hear the noise of a blow tire [:@] The tires only had about 700 miles on them! I'm going to see what I can do about it, I just hope that the rim isnt damaged at all, but it looks like I'm gonna have a new tire to buy.

Yeah, I'm pretty mad, but it will be alright as long as I don't have to get a whole new wheel.

 

Are they a name brand tire? Do they have road hazard coverage on them?

And yeah, get the wheel checked out... you coulda toasted both wheel + tire.

 

The tire is called TigerPaw and as for coverage I'll have to check that out. Do most tires come with road hazard coverage?

 

i ride on PilotSports and i'm out 175-200 when i blow one of those

 

Haha, you'd best be avoiding potholes then... my firehawks set me back 200 a piece, and they are discontinued... so if I blow one... I'm in trouble.

 

[] Well I changed the tire and tommarow im taking it to the place where I bought them to see about road hazzard coverage and all of that nice business.
