My switchblade key has never worked from the day I bought my 98 A4. Can I buy a key on ebay and just switch out my blade with the new one so I don't have to get it cut? Also, do you guys know if I can program any key to work with my car? What should I do?

 

Have you tried reprogramming it? Yes you can buy one off ebay and swap the key. It's pretty easy to do.

 

I haven't tried that.. How exactly would I do that?
