Default Brought her home today...

After a week of constant paperwork and credit union computer errors...I finally took my car home with me today! Driving 75 miles back home from the dealer was quite the experience, I already know that my next car will be an Audi...and probably for a long time thereafter...reading the owner's manual opened my eyes to stuff I didn't even know existed...

"Abigail"

2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Tiptronic

Denim Blue Pearl Effect

Premium Package

16" 5 spoke wheels

Sunroof, Bose, CD Changer

51500 miles or so...

Well maintained...Very good quality both exterior and interior...

$16250 Out the door...

Original Retail $31,800

Only thing the car is missing is power seats, and radio controls on the wheel (really wish I could have those)

Absolutely in love with her!

Now I have one question...the dash cupholder is stuck. It won't come out if you push it...anyone know why? How much it would be to fix...quite frankly I don't care if it works and knew about it when I bought it...I don't really do a whole lot of drinking in the car or fast food but I would like to have it there if it's cost effective...

Pictures when I can get around to it...very hard to capture this color in the camera though...

I have the tirptonic controls on the wheel, and the original invoice, has Bose Premium sound, heated front and rear, 16 inch 5 spoke alloy wheels, premium package (homelink, auto dimming)...I know I thought it was very weird not to have power seats...but it's not necessary really for me...But boy do I wish I had the steering wheel controls for the audio...although in all my searching I never found a car that had them...and I couldn't pass up the price on this...lower than KBB and NADA...by plenty...

the cupholder over the dash suck b/c they let water drip from condensation on the radio.

None of the cars have radio controls on the steering wheel. Those are controls for the tiptronic.

Worse than condensation dripping, is coffee sloshing out of the cup and causing the buttons on the radio or climate control to stick.

I'm starting to think that the previous owner had the thing glued shut so that he wouldn't spill...one button sticks...but not horribly...anyway to improve that?

Short of pulling the entire control panel out, I would suggest using contact cleaner or TV tuner cleaner from radio shack. Double check that it wont damage the plastic on the dash, and then carefully spray some in.
