I called and im still waiting for their answer but I would value u guys IMO before i buy it (i need to pay 57 us shipping, im in mexico city) before i spend the money, the stealership here wants about 200 us for one, can u believe it?

my car: 2001 1.8T FWD Tip Sport, dont know the engine code, but if anyone here know how to get it from the vin ill check it out, car is at the shop.....

Your engine code is stamped on the top of the engine under the black plastic engine cover.

 

I Forgot to mention that the shop's closed for the day, so i coulndt ask them, on my car's bill of sale it says on engine # APU083847 and it does state in the vehicle description as a 1.8T with 150 HP :-(
