What is this button i found in my audi?

It is located on the panel between the front and rear door on the driver side.

Any one knows what it does? I dont want to hit it until i know haha

 

Its in the owners manual. Its the switch for interior motion detector for the alarm system. Supposedly you can press that button to turn the interior sensors off, but it didnt work for me, so i used vagcom to turn down the sensitivity cuz everytime id have a window down with my alarm armed, the wind would set my alarm off.

But perhaps i dont need trhis button?

there is an aftermarket 2way compustar on the car, so that would make this button obsolete?

 

Yeah i think that they may have dissconnected the factory alarm if you have something aftermarket. I woundt worry about it in that case.
