Evening fellas..and ladies..
I have managed to track down a 2004 1.8T Ultrasport with 44k miles on it and in very nice shape. It is dolphin gray with black leather interior. It DOES NOT have Bose, xenon, or satellite radio, which is a bummer, but I guess I can live without Bose and hit up vvme.com. I went and drove the car and was given an out-the-door price of about $19,400 (car is $17,900). Is this good? I have told the owner that I will be by on Friday afternoon to buy it, so I still have time to think about it and perhaps even 'disappear' if I choose to not go through with it.

I also have a question about the radio..I might have been hallucinating from sheer excitement of driving an ultrasport, but I think it said Audi Concert. Is this single CD or 6 CD? Was concert even an option? I found a website called "Ti-Kan," which offers an Audi radio resource that claims the Concert system was only put into TTs.

Standard head unit? I thought the A4 standard head unit for the B6 chassis was Symphony II?

It's concert. 1 disc. Pre-wired for the 6-disc to be housed in the trunk.

..for those who care.

Also, I am buying the car tomorrow. $19,200 (price neg. because it is missing one of the two switchblade keys.) I get a nice 1.5 hour drive home on Florida's interstate 4, so I'll be able to open it up on the way home. Pics to come!

Are you 100% sure it's an ultrasport? and not just an ultrasport body it / conversion? My USP kbb is still 24-26k, that seems extremely cheap to me... the radio should be the symphony II double din with 6 disk in-dash cd changer, drivers seat should be power passenger has power lumbar but thats it in the 1.8t anyway....

17k cannot be a USP unless something is wrong with it or if its not really a USP.

they are too rare to be that cheap right now!
