Yeah I bought an ultrasport as well and thats a hell of a deal if it was up here. I am in Canada where luxury cars are a hell of a lot more expensive! SO I bought mine with 22 000 Miles or 35500km and I paid pretty much $35000CDN and the USD is Even to CDN!!! if not more now! so thats a hell of a deal! But defienetly spend the money on a car fax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant emphises it enough!!!!!!!!

Ultrasport is a dealer upgradable option, it's not a car model, carfax isnt going to show it so no need to have an attitude about it.

I think your getting screwed on this one. for one thing the spare should be a full size 18" rs4 rim that comes on the USP models. If it is a trued USP then its a smoken deal cause i just payed 24k for a 2004 USP w/ 36k miles in AZ fromt the dealer.

Good luck

Double din DVD player = aftermarket head unit.

I'm not getting a very positive vibe about this car: Head unit is not normal stock; different spare rim; low $$; sounds like it may have been through a chop-shop.

Take it to a respected auto body shop and get them to do an estimate for you. They can usually tell you in under 60 seconds of any prior damages and repairs made to your vehicle, and provide you with a written estimate stating a reduction in resale value, which should give you more leverage in the bargaining process.

There are too many Audis on the market to delve into a shady deal. I resisted such vehicles for a full year before I found EXACTLY what I was looking for at the PRICE I wanted to pay...ironically, it was from a dealer. I pulled my Audi right out from their tight grips, and left them with only lunch money in their hands! Do your homework and be very patient; the car you are meant to buy is waiting for you somewhere.

You guys are killing me. It has the perforated leather steering wheel and the perforated leather shift ****. It has the shifters on the steering wheel, NOT paddle shifters. Haters.

You know, a thing called a VIN check goes a LONG way... and they only cost $24.99 through carfax.com. Genius.
You're a big donkey.

Exactly. I asked for help. Not sarcasm.

You've been of some help though, so thanks to you.

I did buy the car today by the way.

I probably didn't need to be so obvious with the Carfax remark. I must note that you are incorrect: the Ultrasport option was an Audi factory option, not a dealer installed option. A simple (and free) dealer VIN check will signify that it is a true USP while Carfax may or may not depending on how much info Audi includes in their VIN numbers.

I can take it to an Audi dealership and ask what factory options it has/had? I have a rear tail light out so I'm going to take it in to have it changed..I'll have them run it and check it out for me.

I couldn't imagine someone retrofitting a regular A4 with the steering wheel shift buttons though. Seriously, when I got home from a nice drive home in my new car today and saw all of the negativitiy about whether it was an Ultrasport or not in this thread..I got upset. I was actually thinking about excommunicating from audiforums and joining audizine
