The can I bought has 1 pound of R134A. It contains lubricant, stop leak and a pressure guage. Made by Interdynamics. The price includes $1.50 sales tax.

ORIGINAL: Redgoat

no My A/C works... wouldnt have it anyother way..

I dont think your Audi has a low pressure valve.. not sure though

he should have a low side i belive it was only the 96 that do not have one.

there is no differance except buy one of the kit things that come with a gauge they are beter than just dumping some unknown amount in.

im having the same problem, i recharged with 1.5 cans of coolant and coolant oil stuff, but now its back to blowing warm ail somtimes, so i might take it to a shop because i think its leaking because there is a hiss from around the low pressure valve when i turn the car off.

Just pay the guy 50 bucks to come and do it. & he will be able to test for leaks as well & fix them.. It could possibly end up cheaper doing it that way anyway.

i found a kit that u just go and buy it fixs leaks and already has a gauge and oil with it. All u do it plug it in and press the button. I will ask the guys at the local part store when i go to buy it. If they say i shouldnt do it then i will have them or not buy it. It sounds easy enough from the how tos i found. http://www.id-usa.com/how_to_recharging.asp

I have a 96 so I couldn't recharge it.

$105 including tax at Sears to recharge and inspect.

Mine has that same hissing sound but it blows COLD. It was recharged 1500 or so miles ago

Well ijust rechrged it. I used teh kit in the first pic in the link. It was 25 bucks at auto zone and i just did it in the parking lot b/c teh first one i bought had a broken gauge. It was very easy just conect check, puncture can , shake and then let out the right amount according to the vavle.
