I want to get my windows tinted but CA laws say the front windows have to be 70% or lighter or else it's illegal. Does anyone know how well this law is enforced. i.e. if I get like 35% all around would I get pulled over and then have to get the tint removed (like a fixit ticket)? Also if anyone has pics of what a tint 35-50% looks like on an A4 or S4 pref. black it would be greatly appreciated.

 

depending on your area well in the LA area alot of my friends got fixing tickets for tint
and 35% is the limit for the front

 

Thanks I'll just go with the legal limit, i dont want the hassel of getting a fix it ticket.

 

there will always be an **** cop out there that needs to give out a ticket so save some time and money and keep it legal

 

Ya Cali and there laws are crazy....thats why when i moved to detroit i kept my florida license plate so the car is legal or what they think is legal. Its really illegal anywhere..lol

Hey Panda you said CA cops are ****, no **** especially where I live (saratoga, CA) there is pretty much zero crime so the cops just try to write young guys tickets. I got a ticket for 44 in a 40 when everyone was gonin the same speed in a pack!
