Default Camshaft Sensor??

Hey... first off I just want to say that audi is one of the worest cars I ever owned in my life. Within the last 8 months, I`ve spent over $4500 on repairs, not counting rentals and days missed from work. I have a 2001 A4 Quattro with 70K. So here is the list this P.O.S
cost me,

New Turbo $650
New Mass Air Sensor $120
New Camshaft Sensor $80
Engine Rebuild ( Timing Belt Snapped @ 62 K) $2800
New Water Pump $140
Rear Bearings $400

I must say, I will never ever!!!!! buy another audi or recommed it to my friends.

Besides my bitching, I do have a question.... sorry audi fans.

I went to my machinic for a Check Eng L. It was check out and it was code

17748
P1340
Crankshaft-/Camshaft Pos.Sens.Signals Out of Sequence

So I went ahead and got another one just to be on the safe side. It was installed and car drove like new. But a day later the C.E.L went on again for the same reason?? Does the Cam Sensor have to be set or aligned? Any ideas?

The car was inspected by my dealer and said I didnt need one until 80K service. thats why I never changed it. I never got an explaination for the turbo, but it smoked like crazy. And I only use synthic mobil one oil. I dont wait till 10 k. I have it done ever 5-7k.

ACTUALLY..... if it was inspected by Audi, he may be able to get all his money back.

Dan, please contact Audi of America for help in this matter.

The dealer was Paul Miller IN NJ..... These ***** got me in the past so bad I felt like a moron. I went in for a rapid blinker on a turning signal and was told I need to replace the signal mod. $265... like a rookie not knowing better to check the internet I did so. Then when I went to a privet mach, he told me it was a freak light bulb.... well u do the math... $4.00 Vs $265.00... ***********..
