Yeah, I had the Forge 007P with the yellow spring in for a day before I got the chipped ecu and nothing noticeable, really. It shouldn't hurt anything. I'd keep the vent to air to a min though if I were you, just enough to get the noise that you really need. The car is meant to run on a recirculating type diverter valve.

If u are 2001 and up you need not worry about Bogie's advice,if ur 1997-2000 you should head his warning. No problem runnin a blow off valve on stock boost. Just make sure your spring is the right one or you may expierence problems, such as stalls an a CEL.

dont listen to stupid bob. There is no reason for you to not install the valve. The forge valve wont cause any harm to your car PERIOD!!If you want it installed now, then do it.

The splitter is non adjustment, you either vent the pen tip size to atomosphere or you block it off. The valve doesnt look like it recircs as much air as other valves so i personally wouldnt install the valve 100% recirc. The more air released from the charge pipe the better.

Bob,
Get your facts straight before you attempt to help someone out. There isnt one accurate statement in your entire reply

1- i think you meant 2000 and up (MAP equipped cars)
2- the amount of boost you run has zero effect on whether or not you can run a BOV
3- the spring isn't what would cause you to stall, running a BOV that is open at idle will

oettinger- slap that bitch on and enjoy it

The SpltR is adjustable for different boost levels via the **** on the top of the valve... fully counter clockwise or maybe a turn or two is good for stock boost levels.

lol. putting on a BOV/DV will not hurt the car at all, even is your stock. its the same dam thing as the stock one on the car (same idea)it just helps when you raise boost to hold it.
