Some of the B7 body styles havered "T" and some have a chrome "T". My 07 have a chrome "T"... is it a year thing?

IDK maybe the red t means it has the sport package

i think it means that you have the k03 sport instead of just the k03.

im sure it has nothing to do with the turbo.

I have a 01 1.8T that has a little red thing by it and i also have seen them that are just chrome. So it could mean something or just a different look. i would like to find out why this is as well. I dont have the sport on my car so the red T can't mean sport package.

Is it possible that a batch of the Audi's have a red "T" because the factory ran out of chrome for the day and wanted to meet quota. So they stuck them on and figured it looked good. That is my guess. Or you could question the dealership.

the red T on your 01 A4 means you have more hp than other b5 A4's
you have 170hp as opposed to 150hp for the otherB5s
