when you had it out did you look at the sides? like what exactly is holding it in there? theres a clip in there and when you put the key in the slot it retracts the clip. but you can put something in the side and compress the clip. its risky but if you have no other choice just force it out. it will break the clip but thats ok you can make it fit snug again easily. good luck. and dont hurt yourself.

yes yes, glad your still promoting the right way to do it, lol all these jackasses that use high to low converters dont know what good bass sounds like till you do it right !!!

and as far as removing the radio my method worked pretty well every time..... stick fingers in tape hold grab on and pull really hard worked every time

Jason,

is there a place to connect amp on our stereo ?
You can hook up female RCA's to any stereo for a preamp output. Just a matter of splicing.

coolvirus:The tool the dealer uses is like $50 and i didnt buy it. I never ended up having luck with the keys i bought so i just said F it. I thought i had my wiring messed up but it turned out to be a bad ground for the amp hooked up in the trunk.

haha... Straight from the Bently Manual huh?

I dont think that method would work well with a dual din symphony radio though... Or is that what you had?

Yes, I saw the clip when I removed the radio a few months ago. I'm not sure what I can put in the side to compress the clip. It has to be something very, very thin.

BTW, can you really remove the radio by just pulling hard on the tape deck?

I dont know but if badluckaudi says it can be done, it probably can. I tried on mine with no luck, but i didnt want to rip off the radio faceplate or crack it so i didnt pull with full force. Mine is the symphony radio though.. I dont know about the single din concert radios.
