My car has been recently jerking on me. It is realy noticable between the 2000-2400 rpm. Every time i throttle off slowly after the boost comes on my car feels like its getting hit from behind a couple of time. Bad DV?? I vacuum at around -21, so i dont think there is a vacuum leak. I got my car diagnosed last week and no codes popped up but the problem only starteda couple of days ago.

 

sounds like your dv is fluttering. what dv are you running? might have the spring to tight

 

So it could be the DV??? Ive still got the oem dv. Il try changing the DV and see how it goes. Since im going to buy one from ebay, do you have any suggestions??? Or do you have a dv for sale??

sorry i dont have one fs but forge dv's are among the best. never had a problem with them. however i have not ever herd of a stock dv fluttering before. i only hear of them leaking.

 

Cant find that on ebay. is the forge any good?? Im only looking on ebay coz over here in New Zealand the dealer said it will take a month to come from germany and will cost me 174+gst. Which is a buit high. How about this one from ebay. Any good??

looks just like a forge but i think its a knock off. let me think a bit more about what could be wrong because like a said i havent herd of stock dvs fluttering in audis

 

Its a knock off , we haven't produced that valve in well over a year. The new 007s have shorter ports, a different design to the cap, and a Forge logo. Also the spring colours are wrong...

Unfortunately we don't have any dealers in New Zealand.
