The car: 1996 Audi A4, manual transmission 2.8 V6 Sohc.
Problem: Turn the key, buzzing noise no starter action, engine won't turn at all. Car can be pushed started.
Starter has been changed, no changed still won't crank. However their is a continuous buzzing sound coming from the relay marked 214 when key is turned in cranking position, brand new battery.
Please help!!!

 

Look up what relay 214 does.

Seems to be related to the Lighting circuitory, why would it buzz though? Does anyone think it might be the ignition switch acting up? Before this happened the key was turned once , no crank, twice no crank only turned over on the third try. After this it just refused to start. This is such a headache especially having changed the starter.

 

Ok, that relay was replaced, starter replaced, car still no starter action, just clicking of relays, I need assistance

 

Go through and check to make sure all your grouding wires are attached securly. Other than that idk.

Yeh it can be bumped started pretty easily, pushings the hard part
