So my Dad and I recently replaced the clutch and a few other things on the engine, it required removing the transmission and the front of the car pretty much (radiators). Now everything is nearly on except the front bumper and this one temperature sensor (at least thats what we think it is). Everything else is connected we believe. Here is a picture of the sensor, any idea where it connects to????

 

Actually We Found out where it connects to. However we are still getting a weird noise from the cars computer area and it will not start. There are no warning lights on except when they flash when you turn the key to start the engine

 

Sounds similar to my problem. Please let us know what it is when you fix it. If I fix mine first I will post what my problem was here. Do you have access to a vag-com/scan tool? Any codes?
