Default Carbon Fiber Fron Grill Rings

I am out of school so I decided to overlay the front grill rings in 2x2 twill carbon fiber. They aren't perfect but I thought I would share. I am pretty happy with the turn out they look pretty good imo. Here are some pictures.... I will post pictures of them on the car when it stops raining here.

looks pretty good. did you use a blow dryer to shape it better? did you cut little pieces and put them on or just slapped a huge one on?

one huge piece, and I used acetone to form the carbon fiber (it relaxes the carbon fiber.)

hmmm.... maybe ona lighter colored car it would look good, like a silver or yellow, maybe even the s4 blue. I think on darker cars it wouldnt contrast very well.

IMO

Carbon Fiber contrasts itself. But it will be more noticeable on a lighter car. I also think it would be washed out on a carbon fiber hood, but would complete the look.
