x1rider read your link. good stuff. hope i dont have to use it, but will keep it in favorites just in case.
The block costs only 35 bucks shipped, it's a dirt cheap solution. I probably spent like 500 bucks swapping O2 sensors thinking that was the problem!

ok got it. here is the review so far.

Random technologies high flow catalytic converter 300 cell stainless.

The unit looks nicefits perfectly and is ten times easier to install than bulky heavy OEM. You can install the cat on the downpipe and slide the whole thing in from the bottom (did it without lift). The rear o2 sensor must be left off but since the unit is smaller it is easy to install the rear sensor from the top. No problem. The flanges have slotted holes which makes things a little easier to install.

Started it up and drove around 30 miles and so far no check engine light !!!! yay!!!! I'm sure tomorrow it will probably come on but we'll wait and see.

I don't know if it was my imagination but he car seemed to drive faster on acceleration and top end.

It is as quiet as OEM maybe slightly less quiet.

The only qualm I have isin the gasket and bolt kit the bolts to the dp flange were one size too short and they needed washers-small fender washers to comfortably clear the slotted holes. Other than that everything else looks good so far.

Thanks for every ones input I'll post if any problems arise.
