I had a CEL before and I fixed it and the check engine light went away. However it came back again even after fixing the problem.
Heres the code:
P0411
Secondary Air
Injection System
Incorrect Flow

Now before I had it checked the dealer told me it was one of the vaccum hoses, and vaccum jet pump.
Part #'s 06b133783bc and 058133753b were replaced.


However if the code came back up was this not the problem (even though the vaccuum hose was definately split down the middle)

P0411 is probably the most common error code on audis, especially the 2.8s for some reason...how long ago was the repair done? most likely you have another crack in the hose

 

What motor do you have? On the 2.8 there was a recall on the vacuum lines due to leakage. Youll also want to listen for your secondary air pump turning on. It draws air in thru the airbox, so you can follow the plastic pipe down to it if your unsure of location. You can also t a vacuum gauge into the vacuum lines after the solenoid to make sure the solenoid vavle is actually moving.

 

i have the 1.8t i changed the hose not even a month ago. ive drove about 1000 miles since and it hasnt gone off until this afternoon....

 

any other theories? does the P0411 just mean a vaccuum line?
