Changing headlight bulbs
For my 2003 non-zenon headlights. Don't have the manual yet, so don't know the bulb types.
Found what appears to be a good FAQ for changing the bulbs, http://www.faqfarm.com/Q/How_do_you_..._on_an_Audi_A4 Questions: are both highs and lows 55w H7s? |
RE: Changing headlight bulbs

ORIGINAL: mrsnak Questions: are both highs and lows 55w H7s? answer: yes |
RE: Changing headlight bulbs
I see the Sylvania chart saying 65w H9 for highs.

RE: Changing headlight bulbs
That was for All-Road Quattro... Kind of thought that's what my 1.8T Quattro was.
Ordering some new HID look zenon-type bulbs for the car. Wanted to do both sets same time. |
RE: Changing headlight bulbs
noo. thats not your car. Thats for the Audi All-Road you use h7's
|
RE: Changing headlight bulbs
h7's is correct. If you switch to an angel eye headlight (which is recommend) than you have to use an H1 bulb.

RE: Changing headlight bulbs
Ended up getting some nice PIAA ultra whites. Learned with my last car never to buy bulbs with higher wattage unless you do the wiring harness thing...
