Default Changing Vacumm Lines

I want to change vacumm lines out on 96 2.8L. How hard is it?

not hard. just buy about 3 feet of it and pull/cut off old one and replace with new one of equal legnth. i did them one by one so not to screw up.

Yes... but one line looks like it runs into dash board. Are they all accessible just from the top?

ORIGINAL: hb972.8q

runs into dash board?? i did them like 2 years ago i just did all the ones i could see. never noticed one that enters the dash. i will have to take a second look

You might consider buying some 3mm lines from a porche dealer if you have one near by. Their's are a lot more durable than the Audi braided ones. After 2 months the outside of mine were already cracking off.

No Audi stock vacuum hose is 3mm iirc, that is 6mm.

i replaced all the one in this clump[IMG][/IMG]

and one at the end of the green line under the ball thing[IMG][/IMG]

didn't see any that went into the dash board.
