check engine light is on
I have a 2001 A4 1.8 Audi, the check engine light code p0011 is on. I read from the past posts that I can temporary erase the code by unplugging my battery for 20 minutes. This will temporary reset the code. Will this last for couple of days?
I went for emission sticker test today and the tech said I must get rid of the p0011 before he can issue the emission sticker. And that I have to fix the CEL and make sure it didn't come back after driving for 100 miles. Is this has something to do with the Spark Plug? Any input would be appreciated. Hunter Houston TX |

Check the connection, wire, to the cam sensor. It is in front, high up
on the engine. It could also be caused by a loose timing belt tensioner. |
