Default Check Engine Light, A4 Quattro 3.0

Hi All,

Recently,my A4 CEL came on. I think because Iwas shifting gears from Automactic to Tiphonic, while I was driving. Today, I took the car for a scanned and this is what they found: " Emissions - Related Powertran DTCs, Mode 3: Electronic Cohntrol Unit ID: 10
PO741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck off." I know this will cause me an arm and a leg, but the car is still driven normal. I would like to ask anyone who are familiar with this symtom, please tell me how criticia is this?

Thanks for your info and input.

aTorque Converter Clutch locks in at cruise and gives the car an actual 1:1 connection with the engine and trans. Without it you would only see a change in rpm at cruise(being higher) and a loss in gas milage

Hi All
I currently have the same prob. with Code 741 and I was
