Clear corner pics
After seeing JDCrowe's pics I had to do the same. Overall, not a difficult job. The holes I had to drill are a little more noticeable than they should be but I had a little trouble getting the mounts to break loose. I was worried at first but after I put the light back on I realized they aren't that noticeable. I couldn't get all of the shavings out of the light. I had a vacuum cleaner but no compressed air. I'll probably take them back off and clean them out better when I have access to a compressor. Thanks for your help guys!

By the way does anyone know where I can get that cover for the headlight cleaner besides the dealer. I'm afraid to see how much a dealer wants, because it'll probably be the whole unit not just the cover.
I see part number 8D0 955 276 GRU
$9.51 from Worldimpex.com. That is primed not painted. It will probably cost 25-50 bucks to get painted. You can also try carpart.com for a used one.
BTW, the clearcorners look really good.

Nice dude, that looks solid...and it didn't cost ya a thing!
I've got a silver B5, I'm looking to do that sometime this week. Do you plan to get silver/clear bulbs that blink orange? If so, lemme know what bulbs...I've found a few on ECS, but not sure they're the ones I want.

speaking of not costing a thing...
just get a can of high temp spray paint and paint your turn signal bulbs. i just did it yesterday and it looks soo much better. the paint costs about 5 bucks, so its not free, but pretty darn close.

This may be a really stupid question, but if you painted your bulbs how exactly do they still work?
Actually I had no idea there were silver bulbs that lit up orange I'll definetely check into it. Post some links if you don't mind.
Thanks Jestnomen for the part number and supplier!

They work just fine. A thin layer of paint isn't enough to stop the light from coming through. You might want to call ECSTuning.com for the clear bulbs that blink yellow. They provide them when you buy E-code headlights.
looks really nice....
glad I imspired you to do it, easier than you thought , huh??
as for as the silver bulbs... I got mine from LLtek, they call them S-Yo bulbs.. ($30 a pair)
but my LLtek experience was HORRIBLE and I wouldn't reccomend them to ANYONE else..
I paid $17 shipping on a set of turn-signal bulbs (high to begin with) and it took them 2 weeks to get them to me !!!
FOR $17 I COULD HAVE OVERNIGHTED THEM !!!
serach "my lltek experience" on these froums and you'll find my initial post...
but anyway, i have the siver bulbs in so go find my pics on my old post and you can check that out to see the difference
