Help - locked key in boot (trunk)!!!
Hi there...my first post is a cry for help!!!
I've just bought my wife a 2003 Audi A4 but it was only supplied with one key and yes, you've guessed it, I've managed to lock it in the boot! A locksmith has just spent a hour trying to get in but was unable to. My question is this: If I call my local Audi dealer, will they be able to make me a key based on the Chassis number of the vehicle?
Many thanks,
Glenn

I dont know if Audi's can do it but with some newer cars you can unlock your car by having someone call you and press the unlock button by the receiver of the phone. ex: I have the extra fob and you are locked out the car at the store. You call me while you are next to the car and i press the unlock button and waalaa your doors unlock.

I needed to put the spare wheel back in the boot so I released the boot with the key fob and set the key down in the right handside storage compartment inside the boot. After I had secured the spare wheel I shut the boot lid and walked away, leaving the key inside! DOH!!!
Easily done.....I suppose.
