Default Clutch cable

My clutch cable seams to loosen on my car very quickly. The clutch disengages very high. I was wondering if this can cause any sort of abnormal wear on the car. I had it fixed once, but within a day it was back. The car has almost 65k on it.

i've had the same thing ever since i bought my A4, the clutch starts gripping almost when i'm about to let go of it. if i put my car in 1st and let the clutch out slowly then after it engages i have about 1.5-2 cm until its fully out.

any one know what can be done about it? I've fixed it before but it just regresses back.

but what i'm saying it that it starts gripping when there is that much left to let go, not somewhere in the middle. oh yeah and the total clutch travel is much more than that
