Default constant squeel

well guys, joined a while ago, find your forums very helpfull.have a 1997 2.8 fwd for about three months now, recently changed timing,cv joint, and got new pads on the back.the guy who canged the pads ground the roters down.i have done over 1000 miles since replacing the pads.the problem now is that there is a constant squeeking squeeling sound coming from the rear wheels,if i tap the brakes slightly the noise stops,it must be the brakes right?am gona bring it into my guy tomorrow, but would app' any feedback u guys would have.the noise was that bad the last two days ive had 2 drive with my foot constantly slightly pressed on the brakes!

sounds like rear brake pads.......napa sells a liquid you can buy and apply and it takes away the squeal. Could also be a bearing, but it would be a diff sound than you are describing.

Could be a small rock stuck behind the back rotor. I got one stuck in it the other day spent like 15 min trying to figure it out before my friend pushed my car about 3 feet and it fell out.

What kind of pads? I have Hawk and they are really noisy. I use brake cleaner once a week.
