is there anyway to fix the cup holder in the dash without taking the dash apart? mine is stuck closed and it only opens sometimes when it wants to. im puttin a new in-dash tv in my car so ill try to fix it then...but is there anyway to fix it without taking out the deck?

 

next time you can open it i would try to clean it out as much as possible. it's probably really sticky and needs to be cleaned up everywhere. i just cleaned the vent right below the cup holder last night and works normal again.

 

coool thanks...i should be openin the dash this weekend to put the tv in so ill make sure everythings clean n ill wd40 it a lil too.

 

i dunno if u need WD40 to clean the cup holder, most if it is plastic som good old soap and water should be ok
