Default custom intake

ok so i made an intake tonight, with a cone i hooked everything up exept for this one tube that just clamps on the stock airbox, because there is nowere for it to go. and then i got a cel from it. i know its this because last time it fell of i got a cel. does anybody know how i can tie this back into the intake so maybe i wont have a cel? i was thinking maybe just capping it off but i dont know if that will work

no that tube isn't comming from the dv valve becuase it loops back in before your MAF. that hose goes to the breathing unit on your alternator. just ghetto rig a little filter on it and you'll be fine

Its your fresh air supply line for your secondary air pump. Autozone or anyplace that has a ricer section will have small breather filters you can get. You dont want that line hanging not attatched to anything without a filter on it. The air that line sucks in goes straight to the head i think.

you'll have to clear the code then see if it comes back. autozone clears them for free.
