ok so driving along, and all i hear is a scratching coming from my rear passenger wheel.... take a look at it today. yup.... wheel bearing is shot and possibly that i ruined the spindle too. well i've been searching the web and $175 for the bearing alone.... but cant find the spindle. does anyone know where i can get a new/used spindle for my rear wheel. its a 2003 A4 front track. 1.8T. thanx in advance.

 

Bearing is 50 bucks last time I looked. Try getcoolparts.com or ECS.Doubt the spindle is shot.

 

Mine was about $60 at a local parts store and I had to buy the bolt from an Audi mechainc for about $6.00. ECS has them too, might as well replace them all since it's pretty common that another will go bad soon after the first one, and you will need to have an alignment done after it's replaced

 

im so glad mines under warrenty. took me taking it back to the dealer 3 times before they finally admitted defeat and changed it. mine made a loud thumping noise under the floor board (random).

 

wait how much for the bearing? i think thats kind of high, is it the inner or outer ? check out advanced autoparts. i think they have the inner and outer for about 11$ each last time i checked.
