hey there just got a new 2005 a4 1.8 and im looking to put in a dvd/mp3/lcd screen device. does anyone know a good one that can be installed in the center console without too much work being done?? thanks in advance eric

 

I'm not 100% sure, but you probably have the double din right? If so, Audis are very annoying when it comes to that. Universal spacers will probably not fit. So you will need to get custom work done, but since you are willing to spend $2,000+ for the unit, this shouldn't be much of a problem.

You have a couple of options. There are a lot of single DIN units available with motorized screens, but these won't look good unless you fill up the second space with something as well (maybe extra guages or something). I know Eclipse just released a new double DIN unit that has the screen in the actual unit. Check them out on the respective company websites.
