dash mats
I'm looking to purchase a front dash mat for my 2003 Audi A4 but I don't want to get one that looks cheap or that doesn't fit properly. Can anyone recommend a good brand that they've been happy with that fits well.
Thanks

I'd recommend not getting one? just dust it and use some sort of protectant and your dash will look nice and shiny and clean.
if you don't mind my asking why do you want one of those?

I guess because I've owned older cars with ugly, cracked and/or faded dashes and because my car is all black I was trying to perform some preventative maintenance. I have used dash protectants but then there's the issue with whether to use silicon products (I've heard silicon based products can leave a white haze after repeated use) and how often to apply it. If the dashmat fits properly I don't really mind the look. I inquiring more of the possibility of getting one. I haven't really decided either way yet. Thanks for the response.
you're right some dressings can end up damaging your dash more than treating it... if you don't keep reapplying it which can be a major pain they'll dry out! I've never experienced this but some of my friends have on older cars...
I think turtle wax might make a good one called 2001 or something... its in a green container.
not sure where to find a dash matt for the a4... never looked into it. they collect a lot of dust and would probly kill my allergies! sorry bro!
