Default Day 2 chip update

1st.... Sorry for being a cheese ball with so much enthusiasm on something so meaningless in life. But I feel that I need the "unchipped" b5 owners to know what they are missing, if they arent seriously considering getting chipped. GET CHIPPED. DO IT NOW. OR WHEN YOU HAVE THE$$. It truly makes the car drive as well as it looks. I always felt before that the looks outweighed the engine performance. Now i feel its equal. I had one problem so far. Once, the car wouldnt start with me having to give it gas while starting. Did it once, and started fine the next trip i made. Drove fine as well. Im hoping it had something to do with the adapting of the ecu to the new software. Any ideas on that anyone? I might vag it tonight.

Let me rephrase that... The only way it would start is if I was pressing the gas pedal, then it was fine. This happend once, and I have driven the car a few times since then with no problems.. Any ideas?

Hmmm I wouln't worry about it at the moment. If it happens again you might have a problem. But for now don't worry.

I'm chipped, and it has been nothing but the best. If you're considering it, DO IT. It definately is worth the money.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Yeah its DBW.. today on the freeway i was gettin on it pretty hard, a few times with WOT from 80mph to 100mph. When i got off the freeway the engines performance felt like it was back to stock mode or something (nothing less). Just didnt have the same pull. Also after ive been driving for a while and i get on it kinda hard i hear that "wooosh" noise.. Sounds like just a lot of wind getting sucked through really fast (or getting let out really fast?) It bothers me a little so if someone could tell me thats a normal sound id like that.

could be a leak, pop the hood and have someone rev the engine for you. boost leaks after chipping aren't uncommon
